Twin Tower Lahore to Be Built on A New Location – Latest Update by LDA

The working for the development of Twin Tower Lahore could not start on time due to some amendments and improvements. In the earlier stage, a few companies shown interest for prequalification and official design layout is still pending. A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that LDA is also planning to categorize its neighborhood area as commercial. But now an entirely different update has come from Lahore Development Authority (LDA) circles. Changing their strategy, LDA governing body has now decided to relocate this upcoming commercial project to another location.

Twin Town Lahore New Location – Ferozepur Road

In a meeting of LDA Governing Body held yesterday, it has been decided that Twin Tower Lahore will be built on Ferozepur Road instead of Jail Road. Lahore Development Authority owns a land parcel there which was formerly used as fruit and vegetable market, KotLakhpat. For this public-private partnership based project, 1.4 billion cost to be saved in account of land acquisition. It has already been explained in detail that LDA will provide land to private partners for this high-rise building.

Development of Twin Tower Lahore

The land will be provided by LDA for this project this year whereas development to start soon after finalizing matters. The project will complete by the end of next year expectedly.

The New Location – Advantages & Opportunities

The Twin Tower Lahore will be shifted from downtown of Gulberg Jail Road to an entirely different surrounding. Connected to the busiest road of Lahore, it will be first-of-its kind mixed-use commercial building in the area. Located close to the land mark project of Arfa Karim Software Technology Park, it will be a blessing for residents. Since there is no commercial centre particularly in this part Ferozpure Road and surroundings, this skyscraper will be a unique attraction.

With an approved budget of Rs. 3.49 billion, 28-storey Twin Tower will be the tallest building of Lahore. Once built, it will provide a number of opportunities to the citizens.
