Regular Property Transfer Process in DHA Lahore
The process of regular property transfer in this lavish housing society is quite easy as compared to other property transfer processes. First of all, you will need to apply for a No Demand Certificate (NDC) after clearing your outstanding dues.
The request form for No Demand Certificate is available at DHA Office Reception. Then, you should visit the Transfer Branch section for an appointment. On the day of transfer, both the parties (buyer and the seller) will visit the DHA Lahore Office in order to submit the transfer documents.
DHA membership fee and also the relevant government charges will be also payable at the Customer Care Counter within 30 days. The Customer Services Officer will receive the documents and also give you a receipt. Next, you will need to bring that receipt along with your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) to collect the transfer letter.

The documents required for a regular property transfer procedure are:
Original Allotment or Transfer Letter
The original transfer or sales deed along with affidavits of seller and purchaser (in case of a registered plot)
A forwarding letter with the details of the property, the name of the purchase, details of the property and also with the signatures of a seller

Associate Membership Registration form: PKR 1,000
Associate Membership registration fee: PKR 45,000
3% Cantonment Board transfer tax
Stamp duty tax (paid after the transfer)
Urgent transfer charges: PKR 34,000
HIBA Transfer Process for Gifted Property
If someone has gifted his property in DHA Lahore to his parents, spouse or children, he will first have to apply for an NDC and can obtain a transfer appointment by visiting the Customer Care Counter.
Both the donor and donee will visit the Transfer Branch section on the day of the appointment along with two witnesses and submit their documents and a gift deed. The Customer Care Officer at DHA Office will receive the documents and hand over a receipt.
Next, they will have to bring that receipt along with their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) to collect the transfer letter.

The documents required for HIBA transfer of property are:
Original Allotment or Transfer Letter (for cancellation)
No Demand Certificate
A forwarding letter
A gift deed on PKR 50 stamp paper attested by the Oath Commissioner
An undertaking of acceptance by the donee on PKR 50 stamp paper attested by the Oath Commissioner
CNIC copies of the donor and donee as well as of the witnesses that are attested by the Oath Commissioner, Class One Officer or a regular member.

The transfer charges for a gifted property are:

Legal Heir(s) Property Transfer Process in DHA Lahore
This process of property transfer is quite similar to the regular transfer of property in DHA Lahore. Any property (a plot or a house) is transferred to its legal heirs when the real owner of the property dies. The heirs will obtain an appointment and submit the required documents to the Customer Services Officer and collect the receipt. Next, the Transfer Branch will issue a confirmation letter to the legal heir(s) which they can collect by showing their Original CNIC.
If a legal heir is out of the country, he can authorize another legal heir to receive the transfer letter from the Transfer Branch sector on his behalf. However, it is important for the second legal heir to submit an authorization letter that can be obtained from the Pakistan Embassy.

The original allocation, allotment or transfer letter
A declaratory decree for legal heir issued by a Civil Judge
Duly attested Death Certificate of the property owner
Duly attested CNIC copies of all legal heirs
Two passport size photos of each Legal Heir with a blue background, attested by Gazetted Officer
Two advertisements in the newspaper announced the death of the property owner along with his photograph. These ads to be must publish in both Urdu and English newspaper
