Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop Inauguration Date Announced

Good news for Lahoris, specially for those who resides alongside Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop as it is near completion. The finishing work for LRR southern loop is in final stage it will be open for public soon.

Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop Inauguration  

According to the latest update, the inauguration of Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop will take place on December 22, 2017. CM Punjab, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will do the honors formally at junction of Fazaia Housing Scheme and Lake City Lahore. Having a total length of 22.35 km, the Southern Loop of LRR has been built from Kamahan to Adda Plot (Raiwind) passing through Gajumatta (last station of Metro Bus).

Southern loop has six interchanges at an adequate distance while automated toll system is being installed. Lahore Ring Road Authority (LRRA) and Frontier Works Organization (FWO) are committed to complete it on time. This road will not only connect distant areas to city’s main junctions but will also reduce traffic congestion.

LRR Southern Loop passes through the area where Lahore’s top housing societies are located.

Lake City Interchange 

The official opening of LRR Southern Loop will take place at its Lake City Interchange in front of M3 Extension and M-3A Block. Lake City Holdings will become accessible from a 150ft main road and a service road from this interchange. By this southern loop, the residents of Lake City will get another route to enter into this mega project. The property prices in Lake City will surely increase right after this development.

NFC Phase 2 Interchange

This southern arc of Lahore Ring Road does have an interchange near main gate of NFC Phase 2 housing society. This external development factor already inched up the prices fractionally and after official opening, prices are expected to move up further.

LDA City

The upcoming LDA City balloting is in the news for a while and now this development will add more value to its properties. The southern loop of Lahore Ring Road will pass through LDA City, so after balloting, LDA City to get double edge from these factors.

New Lahore City

One of the most promising prospect and the new entrant New Lahore City will also get linked benefit from this road. Though it is not directly close Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop, but located at an approachable distance from its NFC Phase 2 Interchange. Even then, its prices are expected to increase in future as per expectations in property market.

Bahria Town Lahore

Like New Lahore City, the residents of Bahria Town Lahore will also get the same benefit through LRR Southern Loop. It will provide them an easy access to Ferozpur Road and Allama Iqbal International Airport through nearest interchange of NFC Phase 2.
